I'm dreading pulling the engine down, not so much because of the difficulty but more of what further damage $$$ I'm going to discover, anyway I've made a start Camshafts are out, I've measured the Shims and thankfully there's enough margin to sort the ones with less than .03mm clearance.
I'll get the Head off tonight and maybe the Cylinder if my mate comes over and gives me a hand.

Meanwhile, new Meter Bracket and Blinkers have turned up from Webike, so thought I'd try and fit them up:
Rears - PO dodgy'd up some front headlight/blinker mount, so the only hole showing below the ducktail is the round hole for the headlight, do I try and dremel the diamond shaped hole in the bracket or grind away the plastic on the blinker to fit the round hole?

Fronts - Fitted the blinkers and attached the headlight shell, check out the gap between the meters and the shell, something weird going on here...Any clues??

After a bit of research I've worked out the headlight/indicator bracket is off a GPZ1100, the arms are located low down on the bracket to allow for the lunchbox instrument cluster.
The modified headlight/indicator bracket po used for the rear indicators kind of fits, the arms are welded on very close to the top attachment points, this had the headlight touching the meters, for now I've just fitted a spacer to provide some clearance and made a new lower attachment point (original bracket was cut off).

So now I need to come up with a bracket to hang the rear indicators, this is what I've come up with so far, once I've dremeled the "diamond" shaped hole for the grommet I'll trim off the excess metal around it and paint it black, once the ducktail and tail light are fitted I think it will look ok.
