Another SoCal ride

I hope you guys have a great ride! I would love to join you all but I have to work Saturday.

KZJohn helped me get the bike running better last Sunday just in time, thanks John! Wednesday I came down with a nasty cold...
... many hours in a full face helmet didn't sound fun to me right now ...

I'm so bummed my bike isn't ready to go yet. I love that ride you guys are going on.:S Have fun and post lots of pix.

I'm either the first rider home, or just the first to log in with an update and a link to pics.

Although we didn't have as many riders as the last ride, it still turned out to be a really nice outing.
Even though it was warm up in Big Bear (somewhere in the high 80's/low 90's), it was still better than sweatin' it out down in the valleys at 100+! :pinch:

The only mishap that I can think of is when we stopped for lunch. We parked the bikes against the curb on what we didn't at the time notice was fairly freshly laid asphalt. The kickstand on the only Honda in the group (CBR 600) sunk in so far, the bike tipped over onto ltdrider's KZ900.
No damage that I could see, and it could have certainly been worse if it had fallen over hard enough to domino all of our bikes.
In fact the kickstands on everyone's bike were sunk into the asphalt, some quite deeper than others. :S

It was pretty freaking warm on top of Palomar yesterday as well.

Glad there was no damage due to the sinking sidestands. I think I will get one of those sidestand pads just in case. How was the cage traffic up there?

Nice pics. That's the second ride I missed. My projects starting to pick up speed tho (hohum). Hopefully my bike will be ready in time for the next one...

Hey Teufel don't waste your cash on one of those dodads I got two in my drawer at work. You can have one when you swing by the shop.
