Obviously this isn't a KZ but thought the picture was interesting showing how they package all the electronics and such on a pro-street 'busa. Lots of engineering in these things but it amzes me all the stuff packed under the fairing.

The modern stuff is Pro Mods and these. 200mph in a quarter mile. My bike is pro stock 1987 era.

It was an actual pro-stock bike raced back then? Didn't see too many Z1 based bikes like yours with the big tire. Always liked the set-up but just didn't see many. Who raced it? You?

No it was not a pro stock bike. It was about 2-3 years behind pro stock technology. It was a IDBA, Prostar, NHRA bracket bike. I didn't get the bike till 2007. It sat in a barn covered in dirt with no front end for many years. I am the 3rd owner. 2nd owner never put it together. I do know the original owner. He had another bike built by Sam that was a few years behind the technology as well. I am told he won a few Divisional wally's on my bike as well as several on his 2nd bike. I was 20 when he was racing my bike I remember it very well thinking I wish I had something like that someday. Careful what you wish for.

I still have not put my new front fender on my brand new PMFR front end.
