Seriously - a top job, mate!
Couple of small jobs to finish off my'78 Z1-R - and I'llpost some nice pics into the forum to share with the blokes!
I've dropped off the forum a bit as my 'pewter has shit itself and am only just getting back into it.
Was up your way last week - only got as far north as Warwick to see Washy with his shedful of H2s. Then back down to NSW after a trip to the National Motorcycle Museum at Nabiac - get there if you haven''t already, well worth a stop!
Cheers, Bill.

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Yeah your center stand was fitted to my 78 Z1R.
I'd just to thank everyone for their kind words an appreciation of my kwaka collection.
The 750 turbo was my first brand new bike purchased 1983 pre the official release in 84.
Still own and love this bike and its my favorite bike to this day.
The Z1R-II and the 78 Z1R are now a big part of me as well along with my ZRX1200r.
I don't have a big shed with all the bells and whistles when I do my restorations.. so if your considering restoring a bike go for it.
Common sense and attention to detail is all that's required...
Just thought I'd throw in my "bit on the side".
This is a 83 Australian delivered GSX1000SD Katana.
Purchased this striped to the engine cases 12 months ago.
Cheers and beers Dave...........
