Thanks. It's a Pretty easy swap. On the 900 it needs two 1/8" washers one on each side at the pivot point. Since yours is a J model I dont know if it needs them.
I used the stock pivot axle slides right into the GS inards. The shocks are YSS they are 13" long from center of bolt holes the length on these are adjustable 1" up or down.. The YSS shocks are pricey but have both adjustable compression and rebound damping.

DoctoRot wrote: that looks like a clean original bike. any suspension can be made to fit. Depends on how much chopping you want to do. The gs1000r was a race bike and probably not what your are talking about.

i wouldn't mind to cut, but im new to this kind of bikes, and because of that im very unsure about what would fit and not.

GPzed11 wrote: Hi Escobar, I am just popping back up here, have been neglecting my bike for a long time but just getting into it now. I have a GPZ1100zx swingarm, with wheels from the same model. So up to a 140 rear tyre which looks great but I prefer the 130 .
if you want the really fat rear you will want to convert the front to match,.

You don't see many black ones, I say go black again, maybe do something different with stripes.

Wow, that bike is badass! Was The swing a easy fix or did you have to customize anything?
Is The rear shocks from The gpz1100 as well?

Apperently it seems that there is no gs1100 swing arm for sale at all, guess you guys take them as fast as they is put on ebay
However, as another person said, was that The swing from the gpz1100 woyld work, correct? And if so, does i have to modifie it very much? The pivot axles and diameters was exactly between The gs1000,..
Here is swing arm on ebay, from. The gpz though. So, what do you guys say about it? Is it a lost case directly maybe?[ebayhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-GPZ-1100-KZT10B-Hinterradschwinge-Schwinge-swing-arm/332599816230?hash=item4d707e7026:g:gpQAAOSw7WJaumD8[/ebay]
