I seldom use the KZ900 Factory Service manual as it is kind of lame compared to some of the others; for instance, the KZ1000 manual is far more comprensive, better organized and laid out and far more helpful for any KZ 900/1000 related repair. I also use the Clymers far more than the blue covered service manual.

Does anyone have those in electronic format?

i've got the factory 900 downloaded...not much help for what it takes to get it. in my humble opinion, of course.

Chris, I do think the effort is worth it! The 900 service manual just isn't all that great but I do have one and it is part of my "must have" library. I have the KZ1000 manual in soft copy, the J model 1000/1100 manual in soft copy and I think the Clymers for the 73-80 Z1/KZ900/KZ1000. Problem is, they are on CD and I have no good way to send them. I bought these on eBay... the seller had them on eBay all the time. I would put them on my web site if I thought my provider wouldn't mind.

I've posted maybe a half dozen times that I'd send a CD of the KZ900 Shop Manual (with the LTD supplement) to anyone that wanted one. FREE, if you live in the US.
Chris Temple took advantage of my offer, and was kind enough to make it available for all. I'm not computer savy enough to know how to do it, or I would have.
I think it's worth having, especially for routine maintanence and adjustments.
If you can't download the files (takes 6 or 7 minutes per file, IF you have broadband), and you want a CD, then send me a PM.
