I used the tried and true ZRX1100 swingarm. However, I upgraded to the 20mm swingarm through bolt. I used a reamer and and fit it precisely like they did back in the days of AMA racing, so there is no end play at all. I had to tap it into place like it should be....thanks DR. GAMMA! I read a recent article where one of the racer's, I think it Roberta Pieatra (?) said the bikes handle so poorly because the rear swingarm end play caused weaving and the slappers. He said they used to jam feeler gauges into the swingarm holes to take up the slack.
Turns out the ZRX1100 rear axel is the exact length and nut size as the GPZ1100 swingarm bolt. So I just turned one side down to be slightly tight for bolt side and bored and reamed the other frame side to slightly tight. Now I have to tap it in, no slop, and its a larger 20mm bolt.
