1./ u like the mirrors because that are longer and eliminate the blocked view of your shoulders.

They look good. Do they have convex glass like the originals I hope? One good thing for sure, according to the ebay ad, they are made in Taiwan, not China. Boy that sets my mind at ease. Last I knew unless someone purchased Taiwan, they were comsidered Taiwan ROC for Republic of China.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

This "Old Dude" still takes it past red line with no problems. :P If you lived in the Chicago area you would know that a speed limit sign of 55 actually means 75+ indicated and 65 means 85+ Indicated. If you don't watch your back around here you will get run off the road with the road hawg driving the "Escalade" doing over 100 and the 40 something idiot in the mini van having to prove that they're not a wimp so they are doing 90 weaving threw traffic. The funny part is that it is usually the "blond rich bitch" or the guy in his Golf outfit that is the problem. Watching your back around here is a simple matter of survival. Those pedals on the floor of the car (or truck) that most of us call the brake and accelerator, too many people around here call "stop" "Fast" there is nothing in between. There was a report in the Chicago Tribune a few years ago about Traffic "Warnings" being given at speeds between 130-170 MPH. That is correct Warnings not tickets. The infamous I-290/Il-53 is definitely the unofficial Chicago Autobahn. I used to cruise it doing 75 (55 posted) and would regularly get passed by vehicles doing around 100+. as I stated before usually large SUVs and minivans.

The stems are the same size as the short stemed mirrors. They are a bit wider and are convex. Therefore they give you a wider field of view. Compared to the stock mirrors there is little to no vibration in them.

the funny part is that there seems to be mixed results with the stock mirrors ?
the only mirror i have that has absolutely no vibration, appears to be a long stock mirror, but i could be wrong.
i'll give the ones u posted a try.
thanks.

I switched to bar end mirrors and am very satisfied with the clarity and field of view.

Bar end mirrors are definitely the best for visibility. I just don't like the way they look and because they stick out so much. I also don't like to look down that far.

Well I'm running clip ons so I'm leaning that way anyway. Mine are actually pretty small. I got them at Cycle Gear and they aren't as big and bulky as some.

OK, I know this is an old thread, but I have a few questions for Otokar about those mirrors.

I'm having the same problem with my stock mirrors on my superbike bars; all I see is my shoulders.

I put mirror extenders like these on it. cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=280605987504

They solved the problem, my rearward visibility is excellent, but my bike looks like Pee Wee Hermann's bicycle now, except more gay.

I like the look of your mirrors, Otokar, and think they may be a solution for me.

Can you tell me what bars you're running, and how wide they are?

I know this is an old post but I decided to give these mirrors a shot based on Otakar's recommendation.
