les holt wrote: I really hate to influence someone to do something, I do have my own taste but the ZX arm with Leon's bushing setup seems to be a good option, as for the front, I'm a believer in Kaw on Kaw so I say ZX forks but the GSXR's work as well and to be honest, I've not seen a single advantage towards the GSXR other than the GSXR forks have more offset witch may give you just a little more turning radius but that's only noticed when just pushing the bike around and the increase in trail is a plus on both but more so on the ZX forks.

LOL! If I didn't want you influence I would not have asked your opinion. What I would like to do is keep it all Kawasaki. Its a budget bike so I'm trying to find the method with the least amount of modifications.
+1 on the pics and parts list.

Parked next to ramtough's KZ
I have 03/04 ZX6 forks on my Z1R and 09/11 ZX6 forks on this bike. The older forks can be slid down with only a dropped top tree, the newer ones will require a dropped lower as well.
There are some different pics on my thread,

Are you able to run a speedometer off of that front wheel?

No speedo off the front wheel, It's an electric speedo by autometer and running a hall effect sensor of the front sprocket to work it.
