Sprocket ratio suggestions

I know there are numerous threads on this and I've read through lots but can't quite find the answer I need. So apologies if i'm repeating but..
My 78 currently has the standard setup of 15/33 but I’m looking to change this to make the acceleration better.
The speed limits (and the law) are stupid in Aus so going over 100MPH is definitely a BIG no no.. so I’m looking for a ratio that will give me good power/acceleration from stop but not too low that I'm changing up and down gears every second..
Any ideas on a nice useable ratio?
Also I’m keen to change over to 530 as it seems the thing to do after reading other threads. I’ll buy a DID chain on Ebay but not quite sure how many links I’ll need.
