steell is correct,,,Kawasaki motorcycle service manual...Kawasaki part number 99931-540-03. Beware that there are a number of KZ1000 shop manuals bumping around the internet and eBay...not all of which are directly applicable to your motorcycle, BTW...which model of 1977 do you have (there were two that year)? It would help if you post your model in your signature.

Then the shop manual mentioned by number in the earlier post is for you. Can be found on eBay and be reasonably priced.
This seems to be the only one currently on eBay...but it is the correct one for you. I would wait for another to appear on eBay rather than buy this one...it is in terrible shape.

Yes, they do good work...I have purchased a number of Kawasaki manuals from them...the only drawback is that it does take a full three weeks to arrive. Worth it if you have the time.

1980 LTD 1000..,1976 LTD 900, have the 1000&900 now. the rest are previous= 1978 KZ 650 B.., 1980 Yamaha XT 500..,1978 Yamaha DT 400.., 1977 Yamaha yz 80..,Honda trail ct 70.., Honda QA 50...5-1/2 hp brigs & straton CAT chopper mini bike...3-1/2 hp mini bike (WHEN GAS WAS ABOUT 45 CENTS A GALLON)!!!!
