Unfortunately that's not case. Purchased it off a reputable seller on the site. There must be a technique as I stated earlier?

First roll the rear wheel onto a board, and then even a 90 lb weakling can lift the bike onto its center-stand.

Old dead fork and shock springs make using the center stand difficult. New springs will hold the bike higher so you wont have to lift it as far to put it on the stand.

...and/or if you've slid your fork tubes down, even 1/2", it will lower the center point and make it all that much harder. I also use the 2x6 option for the full stand. Just making it easier... no longer a spring chicken!
As far as the stop, if you have the skills, tools and hardware, fab your own. Not hard, just have to have the "vision"...

Patton, Rolling the bike's rear wheel/tire onto a 2" board did help lifting the bike onto it's center stand immensely! I did set the rear original shocks on the lowest setting and the fork tubes as !Seymore said are 1/2" slid up to help with my foot placement. Now I understand lowering the center point has caused it to be more difficult to put on the center stand.
I don't have the spring yet installed. That may work against me too?
I'll play with the stop bracket that came with the exhaust. It's angled back to catch the stand in the up position. I'm going to look into drilling an additional hole in the bracket to secure it better to both muffler and passenger peg mounts so that it holds it's position better when the stand is up against it.
Thanks Guys Again for your Help !!!

I want to get rid of all together. One stand foot has grooves in because the bracket shifted down. CHEESY

Not worth worrying about. Install the spring. It's needed. Keeps you from dragging around your stand! (o: Just have a 2x4 or 2x6 handy. I use a 2x6 that's @ 18" long and I beveled it on the roll-up side. Easypeasy...
