That's why I thought the engine didn't match as it's shaft driven but first part of the engine n# is kz750ee00

Searching GT750 engine/motor, the model type seems to have the same engine number nomenclature as the USA shaft drive models, so yours probably should have the NE, instead of EE. It might be handy to narrow down the year or year range of the engine by poking around cyclechaos, although I think the info there is for N. America & I have no idea how useful it would be in your case. maybe you can figure it out.
