If you would like to go all the way to 520 (and why shouldn't you) a front sprocket from a ZXR400L (JTF512) would fit fine and you will have the possibility to flip the sprocket if you like to get out a mm. (That would require that you follow with the rear sprocket

Yes, I've had no trouble finding the sprockets in the sizes I want, just need to space them out, Now you have me interested in the 520, do you mean ZXR 400L sprockets front and back, or the 400 at the front matched to ? on the rear... Would they come in the 17/42 sizes..?
OK, after a look at JT's catalogue I see that both the 400L front and back are a match, and in the correct sizes, do I still need a backing spacer with these sprockets..?

Obs! I am not sure if the zxr400 rear sprocket will fit the Gpz750r1 you will have to check the bolt pattern and center hole.

Looks like the rear sprocket is the same bolt pattern, so that good. I thought the GPZ front sprockets had a thicker center section that the smaller 530/520 sprockets didn't have, hence the spacer .? I read that on here, I haven't actually taken mine off yet ... I'll be fitting wider wheels further down the track but i'm not worried about that for now...
Here's both sprockets www.jtsprockets.com/catalogue/model/1107

Beacuse if you move the front sprockeet out, the rear has to follow just as much.
But you have to make sure the 520 17 front sprocket will fit inside the chain guard, inside your sprocket cover.
There are formulas on the net where you can compare 630 13 vs 520 17 diameters.
Fitting a wider rear is a totaly different ballpark. I am going for a 5' rear wheel on my build where the sprocket offset has to go from original 90 mm to 100mm by puting a 3/8 offset sprocket up front and milling down the cush drive on a zxr400 wheel by 8mm to get the chain to line up.

If i'm correct it works out at about a 3.4mm increase in Radius {6.8mm diameter}, is there enough room for that..?
630 x 13 tooth = 3.133 inches or 79.58mm Diameter
520 x 17 = 3.401 inches or 86.38mm.... Diameter
What wheels are you using the ZXR cush drive with..? I'm looking at running a 18 x 2.75 front and a 4.5 x 18 rear eventually.....

The 520 rollers are slightly thinner so you gain some there, but you need to check.
Don't be tempted to remove the chain guard if it gets tight as it protects the clutch push rod. In that case go for a 16 tooth front sprocket. I can't recall if I went for 16 or 17, I think 16 as I am using a 530 chain with slightly thicker rollers.

In that case you might have to take the studs out and thread them a little further.

JTR488.40 Rear sprocket
JTF513.16 Front sprocket
These sprockets match the stock gear ratio.
530 chain with 102 links.
A 530 chain is the same width as a 630 so no spacers needed.
Stock gearing with the 630 setup is 33 rear and 13 front.
