The 750 Honda's had a oiling problem in the top end. Had friends that had cams burn up. Watch for it. Miller's Honda Davidson gave my bike a run for her money. His was bored to 1000. It was only when I got some cams and the 33's, I could walk on him.

Also CB750s were known to break chains. One of the things to look for when purchasing used ones was engine case damage from broken chains. Not sure exactly why, but this was a common thing on older CB750s.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Ive never heard 750 chains breaking being an issue. However I have heard of the top end leak that is common to 750's. Ive had the 750 for nearly a year now, runs like a top with no issues. The good thing about having 4 bikes, I can rotate and none of them really rack up miles. I like them all equally so I ride them all, rotating a bike every 2 weeks.

Not to rain on your parade here but the "volar" brand is a very cheap and a low quality chain made in china. Go with the name brands like RK and Regina.
