Swingarm pivots widths

Z1, KZ900/1000 = 235 mm = 9,25 inches
KZ650/750 = 230 mm = 9,06 inches

Hmmm...Looks like I'll have to shave off some of the area where the swingarm bolts to the frame. I think that's the route I'll take! Unless someone else has a better idea? :)

So it looks like the width of my swim arm where it bolts into the frame is about 9.5 inches?

Your swing arm 241 mm = 9.5 inches
Z1, KZ900/1000 = 235 mm = 9,25 inches = 6 mm space left to 241 mm
KZ650/750 = 230 mm = 9,06 inches = 11 mm space left to 241 mm

Why shave off, you have to ad some washers to get the swing arms free of play!!!!
Plug and play and easy in and out. where is the problem ???

Here some swing arm charts

swing arms wheel opening (The values in brackets refer to the wheel axle AD)

swing arms pivot/frame widths (The values in brackets refer to the pivot AD)

I think you're confused? I have a 750...and I from what he's saying...my swingarm opening is smaller than the kz1000 swingarm I want to use.. My 9.5 measurement was pretty down and dirty with the swingarm still on the bike. So I trust the spec measurements.
