It's really cool there's people like you who are within a hour or two away from me. Perhaps we could meet up sometime at some swap meet or event or something to trade notes and stories.

I had a 63 Dodge Dart when I was 18. Looked like a preg Guppy. Glad to see they have changed. Nice looking car without the chains.

BAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!

I cleaned off the stuck gravel on the front and underneath the engine, and now it won't turn over. Pretty sure some electrics got wet but haven't a clue which ones. I thought I was being really careful and all, and now the battery's weak and I'm charging it up. I'm gunna wait and see if it dries out and try again tomorrow. If anybody has any helpful tips though I'd appreciate it.

I did that to a drunk friend. He had to spend the night on my couch. He was pissed the next morning. I told him not to come back.

"Ding! ding! ding! ding! ding!!! We have a winner!!!"

After carefully listening it trying to turn over, it sounded like only one cylinder was firing. Picked up a set of plugs and changed them out, found the old ones looked pretty bad. Crossed my fingers and it started right up. THANK YOU!!

Oh yeah, I went around the block with it on 2 days ago, that was, well I won't bs you guys, it was awkward, but I'm getting better at it. It was a boost of confidence I needed. I really think I'm going to enjoy this. This stuff takes time you know.

Looks like it needs to be blown out. The plugs are loaded up from not being run like it should.
I'm glad you misunderstood me. I meant all your connections.

Please explain what you mean that needs to be blown out, like fully disassembled and cleaned out?

He means ride it like you stole it!

DON''T DO IT! At least not until your skills are much better and you are 100% sure about the brakes, chain, suspension, tires and such.

No, these bikes are made to run. If I do too much city riding, it starts to run crappy. I have to get on the FWY and "Blow it out." The on ramp is a good place to do it. I love it when I see a few cars and semis cruising at 65/70, I grab a hand full, overtake them, pick my lane and lazily put it in 5th. Pisses some off. So what.

Don't try this until you get a few thousand miles under your belt. ;)
