I started with 750 tubes, then found 1100 tubes (fork). If you already have a 750 donor bike, I would use the 750 forks, and keep looking for a longer set. They are identical other than length. this is of course assuming the 750 forks you have are actually shorter than the 1100 forks.
The "Bandit" series has the longest set of forks out there, and they are near identical to the early GSXR forks. Same diameter.
Use the forks you have to mock up the bike, while searching for longer ones.
There are a few guys on the forum who make triple clamps for other members. I cannot think of the names right now. You can also put an offset in the lower clamp, to raise the bike an inch. It is more expensive, the machine work is not cheap.

Gives me about
4 and one half inches ground clearance at the lowest part of the header.

what's length on the rear shocks?
are those 17" wheels?

fully extended 13.5" center to center eye to eye.
Yes they are 17 inch wheels, Front from an early 90's GSXR, rear from a 99 ZRX 1100.

The KZR logo would me a bitch'n points cover. I have also considered cutting out the center and putting plexiglass in the center with some LED back lighting.

When you are ready just hit me up. I can walk you through the swingarm switch. The 99 ZRX fits right in. Then there is the chain alignment, and the front and rear wheel alignment.
Its all do-able.

but i have seen several on here that have changed the rear swing arms from the early gsxrs to the KZ.
can you let me know if you have build thread on your bike? ya have me thinking of doing something like this instead of the fight for a title etc... on a totaled bike. besides i got the whole thing for 300.00 because of the no spark issue so tearing it apart might be even more fun then trying to rebuild it

I did not have that luxury so that you can compare measurements easily. I do have a good friend with a ZRX so we did a great deal of measuring before we started the swing arm swap.
I have seen a few KZ's with the Gixxer motor installed, it seems to look reasonable. Winter is coming it is time to start on the KZ project again. Ten years now I have been working on this thing.
