If we can get TerryK in Thunder Bay, and some of our Sudbury area members enroute, that'd get it moving along.
Sudbury to Thunder Bay is 1000+ kms, so that might be asking too much.
Hadn't realized how far it is.
From Thunder Bay West, towards Manitoba we need a hook up.
Do we have members out that way?

Weather needs to warm up a fair bit too.
:pinch:

Another option is to send it around the West side of the Great Lakes, North to Thunder Bay, through Wisconsin & Minnesota.

Please see if you can generate some interest up there, obviously there is no hurry,
The original goal has been met and the common consensus among the final crew was that it can now be mailed to the next leg ,be it Canada , Alaska, Hawaii , where ever....

At least that's what I heard :)

Let the good times roll

So any of our Ontario members read this and are up for taking the Relay Flag somewhere?

The weather is finally getting better, temps above freezing some days.
I've started de-Winterizing the KZ.
Still tons of sand on the roads in my area,

Hope to start the KZ soon.

My KZ lives again for another season!
B)

She fired up, and ran well once warmed.
Have installed an HID headlight, curious to see how it works out.
Still need to give her a once over, and the weather is getting cold again.

Won't be long before I let her out.
I saw a good 10+ bikes out Thursday around the GTA.

I drove from Arthur to Dundas to Kitchener to Stratford yesterday and counted 30 plus a Spyder. TEMP was around 12*C. None on the return trip.

Well back to colder temperatures, and snow!

Depending on the how the strict the requirments are, I might be able to drag it around a little. I may be moving from St. Catharines to lower BC in a couple of months, and will have to make the trip twice for a variety of reasons which are a little difficult to explain. Sadly, the KZ will probably go into storage for a while until I can get back to Ontario to send out the rest of my things, including all my workshop stuff, the Norton and Lila the '650.

On the plus side, I may be taking a ZRX 1200 across much of the country to get out to BC in the summer. Not a KZ, so perhaps not eligible, but I AM a commited KZ rider. Just a though in any case, I would be crossing at least most of Ontario, and probably parts of Alberta if I were to take the American leg. And all the provinces from Ontario west, should it prove advantageous to go straight through Canada. (possibly skipping through Michigan below superior to save some kms.....)

Now that the bike is officially (legally) mine, add me to the list. I'm near Erin On. I have a 1982 GPz550. Im still not quite finished working on it but I will hopefully be riding some time next week. I'll be building the bike bit by bit as I go.

If its broken, fix it. If its not broken, fix it till it is.
