Haha, yeah I do a lot of cursing on the freeways in SoCal, that's for sure!

Saggs- I have an A4 (non-LTD) model, so it came with the flat seat. I'm 99.8% sure they are interchangeable.

If it has tits or tires, it'll give you problems!

okay call me crazy
but i been trying to get someone to chop the seat tubes and back of the frame off on one of these 81 and later ltd's,and fab up a new rear seat tube frame section and weld it back together.
so that you can run either an 76-80 model ltd stepped seat,or the flat seat that came on some of the earlier kz's like mtbspeedfreek mentioned on his bike.
then that leaves the door open to run the 73-75 z1 or 76-80 sidecovers and the 73-75 or 76-80 tailpiece.
i think it would be sweet :woohoo: .
so then you would have the older seat sidecover and tailpiece unit butted up to your tank with all the extra bracing of the newer frame and the j model engine with all the kicka$$ old looks of the old bikes.if done right most folks wouldn't be able to figure it out.

like i said crazy.:pinch:
