the pic u posted showed that u had dual front brakes ?
u can put 1 or 2 lines on a master. u just use a dif bolt. if u use 1 line from master to a cal, u would jump from 1 cal to a second cal with another line. i thought u had dual front brakes ?
i personally feel that using the slitter, keeps the lines neater and easier to keep out of harms way.
please explain how u r routing the lines?
the pic isn't my exact bike, just the same caliper. my kz650 (77) has a single caliper.
i plan on routing the one line behind the forks (just like oem). i just need to verify fittings for the MC and caliper, that's all.

when u get your clip ons u can mount the master and see how it looks.
i did find this
www.cyclebrakes.com/GalferFittings05.pdf
maybe u can just call and get advice on the bottom fitting. email them the pic of the cal and see what they have to say.

this is where i'm ordering the lines from. i did call and talk to someone at cyclebrakes, but the woman taking my order couldn't confirm anything; just place the order. and if i mess it up, it's on me.

the calipers sealing surface is recessed, so a banjo will only want to fit into that recess from the side. a 90* banjo would work but it would exit to the side before turning upwards.
i'm not sure a banjo would even seal properly against that surface , since it may not even be a machined surface?
if u got a threaded end like the stock 1, it would likely be the best way to go.
ask Galfer if the 019c fitting in this catalog (forth page, pg 301)would be appropriate for your application.all u need to know is if it is the right thread or if u would need an adapter to make it work. it looks like a perfect fitting for your application. it says 10mm. but its a female end. u would need a male adaptor fitting.maybe #7a or #7D on pg 305?or 732A on pg 309 ?

as for the caliper, you're right...its a bit tricky. i think galfers 728c is what i would need (10mm) and its a male fitting. i'll try contacting galfer again and hope they don't transfer me elsewhere again.

First bike needs the lines shortened a couple inches and new fittings installed.
I'm wondering if I want to invest in crimp tools or go with screw on fittings?
I wouldn't mind having the tools to build lines for other bikes, just haven't pursued the cost of it all yet.
This is what happens when lines that are too long are used, check oil cooler:
