Complete R1 front end from a '99. Using the R1 stem for now as I only took it out a few times before winter. Soon to be the 750 stem in it.
Also running KZ lines as they were braided from previous owner, but that will be swapped for R1s also.

Thank you Patton, i seen that thread but there is no mention of the wheel type, unless im totally blind AND dyslexic!
the reason i ask is i'd love wheels like that for my KZ650 rebuild when i get to it but can't seem to find spoked ones.
Guys, what do you do with the speedo?, can the original clocks be used (& read properly) with a 17 inch front, i hardly think they can be recalibrated can they? If you can use the original setup how do you get the cable to drive from the wheel?

The wheels are originaly from a KTM SM450 ( Supermoto ) rim are made by Behr and are the factory wheels used on all KTM supermotos. 17x3.5 front and 17x4.25 on the rear.
Front wheel is laced to a Ducati Sport Classic 1000 hub, custom disk spacers, Ducati wave rotor, custom wheel spacers and caliper spacers...the zx6 used 300mm rotors, I'm using 320mm rotors.
The factory KTM supermotos use cushdrive rear hubs so that was an added bonus. MX hubs are not cushdrive just so ya know if your looking for a rear KTM hub. Custom wheel spacers, modified CBR929 caliper bracket, custom brake stay arm.
I'm using a Koso DB-01R gauge so cant answer your question about factory gauges and a cable drive.

Is that a ZRX swingarm on your bike? 1100 or 1200? Was it hard to fit? Been told that the 1100 is an easire fit than a 1200...........dunno if thats true, then again i think the 650 & 900/1000 are different in swingarm pivot width.
