I really wouldn't mind moving them a little closer to the frame myself (passenger pegs) but the wife also loves this bike and enjoys getting out every chance possible. Need to make sure she stays half comfortable....

I just bolted them on on a 77 KZ chassis like yours, here's what they look like, they do interfere with the passenger pegs a little. Look at the pics, without a seat and her on there too it's hard to say if they will work together.

Thanks for the info and the pics. I'm really liking these rearsets, looks like I'm gonna have to move these passenger pegs. I did see a guy on here that used gsxr sets... Maybe I can see what he did as well. Thanks, your doing a jam up job!

Can I get more info on the gsxr rearsets mounted to the kz, like what did you do, if anything with the passenger pegs? And how does the shifter side look and work out? Can you post pics of that side of your bike too?

I've not used the gsxr stuff, others have, I do know you have to weld tabs or make an adapter to use them. I've made all of mine and have used what I gained to design these. Pg. 3 has a pic of the new ones mounted on my bike as well as the rear passenger pegs and weld on tabs I made. I'll be offering them as well.

You are a very talented guy almost make it look easy I am sure that if you start to mass produce and sale these you will have are hard time keeping up with the orders.

really looking forward to trying this kit out. I did have one thought, does the RH brake mount have the provision for attaching the bracket for the brake light switch with spring? Or would someone have to go with a pressure switch plumbed in? Just a thought.

I hadn't really put much thought into the brake switch till you brought it up. I'm not seeing a clean way to put it on but I'm going to keep looking. Of all the rearsets I've looked at it isn't clear how or if they even provide a way to do it.

This is probable what I am going to do:
It is a pressure switch for the brake light that is built into the banjo bolt. A couple stainless steel / rubber insulated clamps on the bakcside of the master mount and you can rout the harness cleanly back to the bike.
My ZRX rear sets that I was planning on mounting to the bike, have aboss for the "L" bracket that the brake switch snaps into, then uses the spring and attaches to the same brake lever pivot pin. I can send pics later if it helps.

I don't know Leon, I like the micro switch, the banjo fitting is going to be exposed to potential damage, the micro switch can be tucked under neatly.
