Bozo wrote: Not sure about the laws in Australia but these guys are in the UK. You are right, in my opinion if a company name is bought out they should be responsible for all their debts, stinks doesn't it.
Worse still it appears the poor buggers in the UK aren't treated any better than I am in Australia.
Are my eyes plating tricks on me or are you in Western Australia? Where abouts? I grew up in Bayswater and Mundaring and my folks still live there in Mandurah. I'm in Michigan now and have been here for 14 years.
PS - did you use a credit card that you can file a fraud claim under?

Mundaring is no longer a bikers road, riding a kids tricycle would get you into trouble with the law.
What made you want to live in Michigan (not that there is anything wrong with living there, I'd like to visit the US in a year or so)

I remember hearing the Gypsy Jokers ride in droves up Gt Eastern Hwy, up to the old Mundaring Weir Pub, but they cleaned that place up and kicked 'em out, way before I left - the sound form all those Harley's sounded like a bunch of Heuy's flying into a Vietnam LZ! I heard the bikeys moved over to Parkerville pub for a while...but I think the cops drove them out there too, and they pushed them out the suburbs.... People don't realize that Perth Western Australia has the highest amount of HD's, per capita, then any other place in the world!
I came to MI to work in the auto industry (you can all now laugh!), but now I am in the defense sector (you can all laugh again). It's a nice state, you get all four seasons, although the winters here a long and cold. The summers are too short, and coming from Perth, you know how awesome our summers are.....and don't even get me started about not being able to surf down south at Margaret River, Gracetown, Yalingup and the like.....luckily I have a wakeboard boat so I can surf behind that (but it's not the same as riding a 12 footer at the 3 Bears), and also get a taste of home whenever I make biz trips out to Orange County.

Sounds like you miss the place, and as for bike gangs, anyone bar the ladies knitting club meeting on scooters is considered a bikie gang and can be arrested on the spot. Knowing our cops kids on tricycles aren't safe BUT its ok because they are the LAW.
You are right about the Harley numbers in Perth theres thousands of these things.
When the clubs go over from the east, the copers out numbered the riders.
Anyway Ride safe
