It's a dad thing!!!!
I remember him wanted to help work on the car or something around the house and then when it was time of course something else would be more important.
Now he buys a bike on his own while he is off at college. A bike that doesn't even run and then gets the service manual, cleans the carb, bleeds the front brakes, etc and gets it a least running..... then brings it home for his dad to help with the other stuff and use all my tools..... could not be happier !!!!

The only other thing I'd say is that that bike could be worth some money if you and he do it up right. Well, maybe one last thing, it's cool that you actually contemplate gong riding with your son.
I'm gonna be watching this and prompting if I see too much silence.
Fair warning

Thanks for that, I take a very personal approach here and that goes a long way, what you just posted.
You should both read that thread, it's not just me there, it's others as well and hopefully we look at this whole thing from all sides to be able to make the informed decision we need to take...Or decide to opt out for reasons undisclosed.
It ha been my pleasure to gain your acquaintance. I
I'll post pics of the master on your request tomorrow.
Good night it's very late here

Rob, Looks like I could use your help and pics of the master cylinder reservoir. I was able to slid a Allen Wrench under the false bottom, but it didn't want to lift up.
You also talk about screw that will be accessible when the bottom is lifted, right now I can't see anything down there because of the muck.
See pic
If you get a chance please post. Thanks again for all the help, AJ

Will do, I’m on the last leg of my trip and should be home within the hour.
Saddlebags flew off so I had to tie them down. Figured I would put a little weight in them.

This place makes the best burgers, black angus beef. I’m doing the Mexican burger with jalapeños, onions and such. Some young people sittin on the back of pickup were looking at me when I got off the bike laughing at me with white unkempt beard. Ha ha. It’s was funny. I’m gonna shave I think.
I cleanup pretty good

Still don't see any attachments?
So I just put that bottom straight up and it will pop out of the reservoir?
