No longer have the cardboard, sorry.
The earlier mount was made of thin aluminum, and did not last.
The cable tie and extra support were temporary fixes.

The parking sign metal worked better.

Do you use aluminum or steel for your rear end?
I made my licence plate holder out of an 2,00 mm thick aluminum plate

Aluminum is bentable very easily by hand with the right low budged tools.
The only pic i can offer is this, (lisence plate holder).
but give some time to take some more pics tomorrow , 21:30 her in Germany and it is fu*king cold outside, minus 5 degree Celsius.

Stick the metal into a vise to hold while bending . I put wood into the vise jaws if the jaws are not as wide as the metal you want to secure
Once you get started you should pickup the knack .
Sometime a hammer is the answer

If unaware of proper tool look up a metal brake and just try and imitate it on a crude scale.
Once done with metal work sand and scotch brite metal for final finish and to hide your metal working marks
