My plans for the bike are somewhat vague right now, but I plan to do a sort of bobber. Something simple for now just to get it going and so I can ride it. Anyways, here are a couple of picks of how it sits right now:

Jack wrote: Hey it's your bike and $$, do whatever floats your boat. However, 1975 Z1B models are getting rare, that one looks like a candidate for a good cleanup or restoration. You could probably fund quite a bit of your bobber project selling the 75 cleaned up and running.
This might be a better route to go seeing what you all have to say about it. Like I said, I don't know much about these at all. Originally, my plan was to pull the motor to use in my single seat, long travel dune buggy but I couldn't bring myself to take a complete running bike and scrap it just for the motor. My plan is to get it running and ride it a while, then sell it to fund my buggy project. The bobber idea was just something I was thinking to get it running and riding. Perhaps I should just do a good clean up and leave it be.

Don't throw anything away or cut it or grind anything. Even the old hardware is worth some money. I did mine on a shoestring budget, only spent maybe $3000.
If you do chop it up, can I buy a coupla parts?
