Thanks Josh. Your right, it wouldn't hurt to have a rear wheel, but i do have a laser  and lasers are like chrome, they make everything better  I'll see if the laser will show up well in a pic and post it. I'm out in the garage now cutting those holes and cooling off with a cold one. Anyone care to join me?
I'm already joining ya! Mmmm, fricken lasers...Dr. Evil would be pleased. After seeing your frame with the giganto hole, I'm hit with an idea. Still want to move that swingarm pivot closer to the countershaft sprocket? Do you have a four jaw chuck for your lathe? Still have some steel barstock? New set of bushings with hole drilled and bored off center. Eccentric, just like me! Picture the chain adjusters for a ZRX-1200. This would allow you to move the pivot fore/aft, and up/down. I'll be happy to guide you through, but you'll need the four jaw.

Thats a nice idea Josh- I DO have more bar stock, but I DON'T have a 4 jaw chuck. I have a feeling it's a moot point anyway, It looks like the swingarm to case clearance is going to be tight as it is

OK, sometimes its best to leave well enough alone. BTW did you use a coaster when you set that beer on top of your georgous motor. I'm jealous every time I see those cases. I bet that they didn't look that good when new. Looks like the guide hole washers did the trick. Now that's some Yankee ingenuity there!

No coaster on the engine, but they're going to go through a washing machine to get any blasting residue out of it before assembly. I was going to buy a gasket kit and put the bottom end together, but instead I'm going to pick up one of irishwills' outboard bearing supports. I fear a 1" extra lever on a stock output shaft is a helluava lot of stress
