As for the nitrogen resevior Josh, I think I will mount it to the new lower subframe tubes, back where the passenger footpeg brackets will go. I havent decided on those yet, so the resevior mounting will wait until I have that figured out.
Mark, between screwing up ever larger amounts of my tube stock and the baby crying all the time, it was a bit.......trying

Does your reservoir have an adjuster for compression dampning or some-such on it? Mine does. What about the hose, are you gonna be able to use the one that came with the shock? My hose is crazy long. Sorry, I had to say it. Anyway, I may have to have a new, shorter hose made and have the nitrogen recharged.

Yeah, the resevior has an adjustment for compression. The rebound adjustment is above the bottom shock eye. I had thought about changing the hose, but mine isn't long enough for it to be an issue so I'll just leave it be.

With my welder fixed, I was able to weld caps on the shock mount cross tube. Not necessary from a structural standpoint. Purely asthetic-

I'm sure Pen is stoked, I know I am Did you get her engine off to Larry C?
Onward! I got a couple braces cut and tacked in for the top shock mount. They're not symetrical though, so I'll take one off and rework it until they match. If I don't, it'll gnaw at me and I'll stare at it everytime I look at the bike

Thanks Larry, I keep imagining the gratification I'll feel when I take her on her maiden voyage, and the bike is smooth and tight, the brakes are powerful and effortless, and the engine (after break in) will scare me a little. Thats the vision at any rate!
