Still no sprocket. Ontrac sucks. Found me on the map, got my cell and home phone, NOTHING.

Got it on. Nice and tight, no slop. Trouble is, the bike will be lower and there is no room left on the adjuster. I'll have to spread the muffler mounts or cut off the mount eyes to lower it. I'm ordering a 98 link chain. STILL NO SPROCKET.

Looks like the new arm is about 2 1/2 " longer. I hate to cut things off and it was said I could spread the mounts. Anyone have suggestions on how to do it? I took some clips but there's a smudge on the lense. Sorry about that.

Replaced with a clip that doesn't have my plate in it.

to spread the pass.peg mounts,
a couple of boards and a bottle jack will do the job.

Thanks Leon. The brake lever pivot is on the lower right hand arm. Thinking on heating it up at the bend after it so it won't become cockeyed. Heat it up and let cool slowly?

Just sent another e-mail to the shipper like the one I sent two days ago. I got no answer then, we'll see if I get one now. While poking around I found there is a surcharge to deliver in my area. and deliveries are very limited. If I don't get my sprocket by tomorrow I will start a claim, then buy one from another supplier. This one has had complaints about shipping. I should have looked before I bought. His shipper was listed as UPS not ONTrac. Not as described.

Thanks. No I cut out the area and had Jeff weld in a plate. I'll still have to work out how to mount the muffler. No hurry, it's nice to know it fits and I can play with it later. The old one is back on there now.

Got my RK O ring chain. Ordered it yesterday, got it today. Excellent chain. Press fit/clip type. 630SO98. $109.55 delivered. Ordered my 35 tooth rear sprocket 4/1/16 and it's still not here.

Pathetic is the only word I can think of for them. I think they are setting it up to send back. No contact with them. I'll call eBay in the morning. My new speedo looks like it will be here tomorrow as well. B)

I took a last look before I put my old arm back on. Had to go into town for supplies. I didn't put the boxes on. I could feel the loss of drag in the high winds today. I'll put them back on anyway.

I was hoping to get a better shpt of the chain run. It lines up well.

Awful damn close.

Bossie without the bags/boxes.

Well I spoke to eBay. The seller issued a refund. It hasn't showed up on my card yet but it should. I bought another one for $10 more from a seller I've done business with before. Even if I could use the arm, I couldn't because I was waiting on a sprocket that wasn't coming. eBay hadn't heard of OnTrac ether. The ad did say UPS was the shipper. I got my chain the next day with them. B)
Also I got a e-mail from the seller of the swing arm pivot. I left a negative review saying the bolt head was deeply pitted by rust and I will have to buy a new one. He asked what do I expect from a 30 year old part. I told him I expected a little clean up but not a part that was deeply pitted by rust and couldn't be made presentable not only that it isn't for a Z1 and not correct for this bike as listed. Couldn't tell by the pic.
I no longer leave feed back until I know the part is in good shape and is as described. I may be able to get my money back. We'll see.

Well another problem, The sprocket I bought the seller listed as being shipped USPS. It's the same one I bought my chain from. I just checked and the shipping said other. Yeah, OnTrac. I guess they are soliciting business to the eBay sellers.  I sent a message not send it OnTrac and USPS as stated in the ad. I've had no reply. WTMFH? :pinch:
