The kicker has an adjuster screw I think.

No idea what screws into that nut.  None of my bikes has one.

No adjuster screw on mine. This is the nut I was talking about - I assume it's for a wiring clamp for the brake light switch and points leads:

I was wondering the same thing. I wish it was in the center so I could bolt a carb support rod for the new carbs to it. I don't really want to drill any new holes in the frame. It's #442 of the first 1000cc LTD's.

I think I'll just end up putting a clamp on there for the wiring. @Wookie: that is the earth point on the crankcase.

The brake calipers etc. came back from the powder coaters today - it all looks pretty good. I only unpacked a couple of parts, will unpack the rest and take some pictures when I get the box over to the garage tomorrow.

All the parts from the powder coaters.

Still trying to replace these so if anyone in Europe has something lying around... I'm including you lot across the channel in this request - Europe in the geographical and not the political sense ;)
What's the best way to clean these up until I find something better? Whitening toothpaste?

Everything looks super nice. I see one issue. Fitting the plug/puck into the caliper. Hopefully the powder coat is thin and won’t be an issue.Similar with the rear caliper to axle fit. Sending good will!

Powder coating looks great!  You might try soda blasting for the brake reservoirs.  I have a friend with a vapour blaster who used it for the white thingys on top of choke plungers.  They came out looking like new.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

@Mikaw: Yeah, they didn't mask all of the surfaces I asked them to. The other side of the rear caliper was masked properly so the caliper will sit against the spacer properly. Not sure what you mean by the plugs? If you mean the bushings for the guide bolts then they will go in OK - that area was masked up.

Yeah, they'll go in fine. There is just a tiny bit of overspray in there.
