Hey Wiers beautiful bike!!
I just read all thread in one go and I have to say that just as the other threads motivate you to start and complete your project, in a same manner your thread motivates guys like me starting with our own projects so thank you for the follow up.
I have a question related to the cooler, I read somewhere that if you run a stock motor, the cooler could have some negative effects on the bike.
Have you experience any setbacks or bad points related to the cooler?
Additional could you tell me how much more oil does your motor take with the cooler?

Sorry for the late reaction but I have been busy lately and did not get any notification about your post.
I did not find anything negative about the cooler on my bike but it does not get that hot in the Netherlands.
The cooler is upside down so there will always be a little bit oil in it.
I filled it up, run the engine a couple of times and filled it up till it was oke in the looking glass.
In a few weeks I wil be refreshing the oil and measure how much will come out, so I know how much I have to put back in.

Wery nice bike ! Why was it not possible to use painstripper on the sidecovers? do the plastic react ? i think you can use mr muscle ovencleaner and place them in a bag. that will not harm the plastic.
I bought same seat from zpower uk .I mounted it last summer, but it was so hard that i changed back to oem.

Sorry for the late reaction.
The bike drives nice.
Engine starts great and that for a bike of almost 50 years old.
I do not ride it that often but always enjoy it very much.
The only thing that needs improvement is the suspension.

Hi Rolf,
I did not want to try paintstripper because of the damage it could do to the plastic.
The wrapping worked out oke.
The seat is harsh but I do not take it for long rides.
The change that an old bike brakes down a long way from home is not a experience I like to take
