is there a reason ...other than you dont have access....that you wouldnt just machine the swingarm to fit the stock frame dimension?

The Triumph SSSA is not like a normal swingarm. That is, it is a hollow cast unit rather than machined/welded tubular stock. To make matters more difficult, the casting is asymmetrical, and the solid area of the swingarm where the bearing is seated is up against the hollow cast section, making it impossible to sink the bearing deeper into the arm. All that, and I don't have the machines to do something like that

Its funny you should mention that Larry. I have been wondering about the side cover fitment myself. But with 2 missing mounting points on the right and one on the left AND a missing left side cover, I can only kinda check the right side. At the very least I am going to have to fab 3 mounts. I think for every problem I solve I create 2 more!Ahhhhhh.... I get it now
